MIKOŁAJ G. GOSS, PhD
Managing Partner
I am an advocate, manager and university teacher. Together with Jan Góralski, we founded GGL in 2011. I have extensive transactional and advisory experience gained in the course of many years of work for Polish and international companies, mainly in the construction, energy and insurance sectors. I am passionate about projects that bring tangible and positive change to a specific slice of reality – the creation of an expressway, a factory, a network of canals and reservoirs, a photovoltaic farm or a new technology for serving retail clients. My participation in these projects is legal advice based on a deep understanding of the technical, management and financial side of the project.
In litigious situations, I represent clients’ interests in court and arbitration proceedings. Sometimes I also perform the honorable role of arbitrator. The courtroom perspective allows me to better understand contractual risks and skillfully manage them at the stage of drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Besides, I believe that an advocate should have the opportunity to put on a toga and have direct contact with Themis.
Alongside my consulting activities, I am pursuing my academic career. For many years I was an academic at the Warsaw University of Technology, where I taught, among other things, economic law and geological and mining law. I have completed numerous commercial trainings. I wrote a dissertation on the legal regulation of the mining sector, which was awarded with distinction and resulted in my being granted a doctorate in law. I am the author of the monograph entitled Supervision and Regulation of the Oil and Gas Sector (published by Wolters Kluwer, Warsaw 2016), co-author of numerous articles and collective works in the field of administrative and economic law, including co-author of the latest commentary to the Construction Law (published by Wolters Kluwer, Warsaw 2022). I am currently a lecturer at Lazarski University.
I work in Polish and English.

JAN M. GÓRALSKI, PhD
Managing Partner
I am one of the two founders of our law firm. I got my first professional experience as an in-house lawyer in one of the leading private energy companies. My professional growth continued in the courtroom, with which I was associated for many years, until I decided to become a transactional lawyer and business advisor to our clients.
At the same time, I began my adventure in academia. For 10 years, I was a lecturer at the Faculty of Administration at Warsaw University of Technology. During that time, I published a number of articles and a book on topics at the intersection of energy law and real estate law. This led to the defense of my doctorate and the award of a doctorate in law.
At our firm, I provide strategic advice to our most important clients. This includes issues in business building, business development and key business disputes. Together with my team, I also lead the most interesting transactions including, in particular, office or retail investments, RES investments and broad M&A transactions.
